GINO RICARDO

be inspired

A year and a half ago I decided to buy a camera to film my trip to South Africa. After the trip I felt like my camera was collecting dust on the shelf. So last year June 2019 I decided to take my camera to work on a daily basis and explore the city during my one hour lunch break. This was the start of the one hour lunch break sessions and later would expand to photographing in the weekends. First it started with taking pictures of architecture and later it expanded to street photography. I like shooting architecture, because buildings never move and I find it really relaxing to do. Just walking around alone in an unknown city, taking pictures of some beautiful buildings. As a motion designer I am always fascinated by pattern, close-ups and repetition of the buildings.
