Wherever you are, I shoot you!

At an exhibition of my work, a lady asked me how I could photograph people so easily. I told her that I could never wait for half a day, hidden in a bush, for a moorhen to come in front of my lens. I am a very sociable person and like to talk to everyone, before or after I press the shutter button on my camera. This is rather difficult with moorhens or other friendly animals.

Street photography is for me an artistic discipline that I practice simply, without asking myself 1000 questions. I always look for contact, close proximity to people. I always like to face them to photograph them.

Looking is learning.
