Broadway Bares is an annual fundraising event benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS — a vibrant celebration where performers of all kinds, from stars to chorus, offer their presence, their energy, and their bodies in the name of something profoundly meaningful.

I choose to be part of this powerful tradition — camera in hand — drawn by its unique fusion of generosity, artistry, and purpose.

Backstage is where the magic begins. The transformation, the anticipation, the community — it’s electric. From the intricate makeup and dazzling costumes to the palpable sense of unity, every moment is rich with emotion and story. I’m compelled to document it. The Broadway Bares experience pulls me in completely, and through my lens, I strive to honor the spirit, courage, and connection that define it.
