LAETITIA HEISLER
I work at the intersection of analogue photography, performance, and self-portraiture. Using double exposure and RA-4 color printing, I create layered images where body, memory, and environment converge. Each negative is a starting point for reinvention, transformed through gestures, distortions, and chance. My practice, shaped by feminist politics and personal history, seeks to reveal what is often hidden — trauma, silence, shame, menstrual cycles — turning them into spaces of resistance and reflection. Through this process, I aim not to represent but to uncover, inviting viewers to reconsider what it means to see, to remember, and to return to themselves.
