SERHII FETT

I grew up in Ukraine, where the contrast between environments and emotional experiences shaped the way I see images. I do not come from a fine art background. Instead, my education has been self-directed through studying photography, contemporary art, philosophy, visual culture, and the work of artists whose practice challenged conventional storytelling.

My work explores the fragile boundary between reality and psychological perception through conceptual photography. Rather than documenting the world as it is, I use photography to question memory, identity, absence, and the emotional tensions embedded in everyday life.

My visual language is defined by restrained compositions, use of color, and symbolic objects that transform scenes into open-ended narratives. I am interested in images that resist interpretation and invite the viewer to complete the story from their own experience.

Alongside my artistic practice, I write about visual culture, conceptual photography, and the evolving relationship between art, technology, and society.
